As the incoming Patron for the Soccer period 2011/ 2012,
I take this opportunity to thank my colleague Ben Wilkinson
as the outgoing Patron for the time and effort that he put into
the position during 2009/10. I also take the opportunity to
thank all Players, their assisting Club Staff and the Mums and
Dads for coming along each week to put the game of Soccer on
for the rest of us to enjoy. But, not forgetting the marvellous
range of Sponsors both Club and Association, both the newcomers
and those who have been on board for ever, you make the game
a lot easier to manage for all Clubs and the association. As
for me the Patron, if I can be of any assistance to your club
at any time, then you only have to ask. Please, as well give
the "new board" time to find their feet and then we need to
give them a go. Let the 2011 Soccer season be played, fair and
square, nonsense free, and then lets all enjoy the coming season
game.
