Thanks to all the clubs for supporting my nomination fo rthe position of Patron. This porition is new to me. I have worked for the Western Border Soccer Association in several positions in the past and it has not always been 'plain sailing'. Season 2009 ended with a slight 'spot of trouble', so lets see if everyone can get on in 2010.
The ladies' games seem to be going well. In the matches I have seen, if the referee blows his/her whistle, they accept this and get on with the game.
I am suggesting the men's league should take a page out of this book.
